About The Figaro Project

The Figaro Project was founded in June 2009 with the goal of promoting local artists and presenting opera in innovative and affordable ways. Productions alternate between new adaptations of traditional repertoire, such as The Figaro Project and Who Killed Don Giovanni?, and world-premiere contemporary operas, such as the upcoming Camelot Requiem and 2011’s Contemporary Opera Trio. With our roster of talented singers, instrumentalists, composers, and conductors, we are proud to promote grass-roots opera in Baltimore.
